I have studied pottery and sculpture making, specifically 'The Language of Form' here at Hoathly Hill studios. I've also studied Art and Design at the MET in Brighton and the City Lit in London and learnt jewelry making with Johnathan Swan in Lewes.
I'm a qualified teacher with alot of teaching experience, mostly within the home education community. I am a home educating mother of four children with a passion for learning and sharing the joy of creativity with others.
I encourage children and adults to play with clay and to feel at ease without a fear of judgement. I work alongside students so they learn by watching or I offer guidance when asked but mostly I like to just let them be because from these explorations comes so much inner peace and a love of being creative.
I offer parent and child, family and children's classes as well as half day workshops for adults. Here students bring along their own clay projects to work on independently in a supportive, nurturing environment.
